The story behind "Monk at Swayambunath"

While it was completely safe and allowed for foreigners to go out on the streets and see the sights during the curfew in Kathmandu, most people stayed indoors, scared after seeing BBC-world & CNN in their hotels.. So this monk at the Monkey Temple had few visitors and he enjoyed that he could take his time to show us the small monastery, as we were the only tourists that afternoon.

Taking time for things is what we in the western world seem to have lost the most, I know I have. Why should something good be over so quickly? I do not know, but this man just enjoyed his being there as well as a nice breeze and the warming sun.
