Praying woman in Nepal

The story behind "Praying woman in Nepal"

Four women were circling the Stupa in the upper Khumbu Valley. It was cold and I was watching them for a while until I could no longer keep my curiosity and went to the.

I asked this woman how many rounds she was planning to make. She looked at me in surprise as this was something she had never thought about before. Then she was silent and finally answered with: “Many!”

We smiled, exchanged some handshakes and sweets and then she continued her prayers for a long time.
