The story behind "Climber coming up to Camp 3 on Everest, Tibet"

Slowly this man takes the last steps up to high camp on the Tibet side of Everest.

Bent over from exhaustion, he is at 8300 meter /27,000ft altitude, but the glacier you see just behind him, is more than 2000 meter/6500ft lower. There is no room for mistakes here, the clouds look soft, but will not protect…
