Some children in this dusty little village in the Middle of Nowhere, Tibet, were curious enough to approach us, but too shy to really come close.. This little girl likely had never seen a bottle of shampoo in her life and yet she lives of less money than many of us do spend on things like that.
In 50 years our grandchildren will not believe us when we tell them how much energy our generation wasted on warming water for long showers and baths and how much chemicals we entered in nature so our hair could be a little bit more fluffy. Now which society did you say was civilized again?
Fantastic photo! Her eyes have such depth; what a beautiful child. Btw, I am grateful every day that I have the luxury of taking a shower. These luxuries should never be taken for granted.
