The story behind the image

The play of wind, sun and the age-old glaciers creates some wonderful nature-art. These Ice Sharks as we called them were sticking out of the rock-covered glacier and were up to 30m/100ft high, like giant prehistoric fish swimming just under the earth’s surface…

But maybe that was just the altitude (5800m/19,000ft) playing tricks on us :)
