The story behind "Khumjung (4): young Nepali cricket player"

It was a school holiday, but still many children were playing on the school square.

While Nepal never had been a colony like India, somehow the cricket sport had entered the culture even here, far away in the high mountains. With a Puma bat, Adidas pants and a The North Face jacket he tried to hit the ball, but though he was very enhusiastic, all the branding in the world could not help him :)
