The story behind "Global culture (1): Old man checking out the babes in Tibet"

This is not one in my Globalisation series (which is about the influence of global branding on local cultures), but this is an example to show that though there are many different cultures on earth, some things are the same everywhere, hence a Global Culture.

I was sitting at the spot near the crossing at Taschi Dzom for an hour or so, trying to blend in with the locals. The old man was loosely interested in me and my camera, but when the beautiful young woman passed him, he immediately lost interest in me and checked her out instead, as men do everywhere on earth :)
