The story behind "Lunch menu in Nyalam, Tibet"

Yesterday’s post made me hungry and I remembered taking this image. Stopping for lunch in a little cafe in Nyalam, I asked if they had a menu.

The young woman who ran the place gave me a big smile and proudly presented me this small collection of loosely translated and incomprehensible names for probably very tasty meals.
As the Tomato fish was a bit over budget and the Sand meat apparently needed clipping, I think I just went for the Copy the hand, you can never go wrong with that I think?

Of course a big bowl..
