There\'s something so innocent in their smiles.

Beautiful, joyful shot. Great composition, and the slight blur makes things more interesting.

Let me in! Tibetan children..

The story behind "Let me in! Tibetan children.."

It’s Tibetan children time again :-)
When stopping for lunch on the way to Everest basecamp, we took our lunch boxes outside and sat in this little dusty town. Immediately the local children came to us, -successfully- trying to get some food.

When we were about to leave they tried to get into our bus, I took this image from the doorstep. Even though they have nothing fancy to play with and our wealth must have seemed to be from another planet to them, they were so happy and enjoying our visit.

None of the blur or the white background is photoshopped by the way, somehow the shutterspeed with the light and the movement of the kids worked out well. At least I like it :-)
