The story behind "Dent du Geant in alpine clouds, Italy"

The Giant’s Thumb is a nice rocky spire in the Mt Blanc Area. When we had just put up our tent on the glacier, the clouds rolled in, making it look a bit spooky…

The Alps are not very high -Mt Blanc is the highest with 4810m, lower than Everest BC- but very beautiful, covering France, Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
If you are not into glacier-camping (which is not allowed in most places anyway), there is an excellent infrastructure of guarded huts in incredible places..
