No wonder they are tired. The last couple of days I’ve visited some factories over there , they are making really long shifts , sometimes circumstances far from ideal. And after that they play all together the national sport “How to get home in time and in one piece”

Commuters on a ferry in Istanbul, Turkey

The story behind "Commuters on a ferry in Istanbul, Turkey"

There are not so many places where you can take a 10 minute ferry from one continent to another… In Istanbul you can board in Europe and get off in Asia! As the city is divided by different waterways, the ferries are a common sight and a very effective way for people to commute.
This was taken at the end of the day, people clearly tired after a long day of work..
